Binding square and tight. 

No writing to the pages other than the author’s signed inscription in front and a former owner’s comment concerning the author’s premature death at the rear. Light foxing to the endpapers, front and rear, along with some darkening in the gutter between the pastedown and free endpapers (caused by aging of the binding adhesive).

A relatively scarce hardcover first edition in any case, and there are no other signed copies currently (9/22) found on any of the major used and rare book websites.
