Lovely Vintage 56cm Condor Path Racer / Track Bike Frame & Fork that has been Beautifully Restored and looks to be from the late 1950s. The Condor Lightweights Frame Set is from St. Grays Inn Rd W.C. London in the Bill Hurlow era. Bill Hurlow Iconic Frame Builder / Designer with heritage in building FH Grub, Holdsworth, Claud Butler, Condor, and Self Labeled W.B. Hurlow Fine Lightweight Frame-sets. The Frameset has Bill Hurlow designed Condor #1 ornate lugs with intricate scrollwork incorporating Fleur-de-lys curls, unique track dropouts, and is built with Reynolds 531 Steel tubes. I think this was considered a 22" x 22" frame. The Size is: Seat tube 54.5m Center to Center or 56cm Center to Top with a 56cm center to center top tube. The Head tube is 150mm. The 1" Threaded Fork has 100mm Spacing and the Frame Rear has 110m Rear Spacing. The Wheel base appears to be 39". The serial # 591XX and from the interwebs I think it is from 1959. Frame and Fork is Stunningly Restored, It Looks Fantastic but is a Repaint, Candy Red with Gold Striping, The Paint work is Primo, I am a painter and can tell the level of excellence. The Frame and Fork was part of a large collection that was in Atlanta Georgia and now is in Colorado and for sale.
