Up for sale is a 1998 Kenner Starting Lineup (SLU) NASCAR driver action figure and trading card set of Jeff Gordon.

Jeff Gordon is an American former professional stock car racing driver, currently an announcer for Fox NASCAR, and a top executive for Hendrick Motorsports. Jeff Gordon is most commonly known as the "Rainbow Warrior", which was given to him and his crew when his car had a rainbow painted on it. He was also called "wonder boy".

In 1998, NASCAR named Gordon to its 50 Greatest Drivers list. Ten years later in a 2008 article, ESPN's Terry Blount ranked him 10th in the 25 Greatest Drivers of All-Time. He was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2019.

He raced full-time from 1993 to 2015, driving the No. 24 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports in the former NASCAR Winston Cup Series and Sprint Cup Series (now called NASCAR Cup Series). He is regarded as one of the most influential drivers in NASCAR history, helping the sport reach mainstream popularity.

The figure and card are mint inside their original factory-sealed retail store hanging card. I am the original owner of this NASCAR collectible and it has been carefully stored since purchased from the retail store. Thus the hanging card itself is near mint, never opened, never displayed . . . there is no fading on the hanging card, no creases or bends, no bubble damage.

The Starting Lineup top racing drivers series was called the "Winner's Circle" collection. Included on the hanging display card are a 4-inch action figure, a helmet with the driver's colors/logo, and a collectible Starting Lineup trading card. The cards included with these Starting Lineup figures are becoming of interest to card collectors in their own right.

Starting Lineup was a brand of action figures produced from 1988 to 2001, first by Kenner and later by Hasbro. The figures became very popular, and eventually included sports stars from baseball, football, basketball, hockey, auto racing, boxing, track/field, skating, soccer, and golf.
