These crimps are the correct size to use with .010 SoftTouch or other flexible beading wine in an extra-fine size.  You can make a beautiful rounded crimp crimping these with Beadsmith Micro-Crimper.  

But here's where I like them best:  use them on wire up to .019 size to hold beads in place to make an illusion-style necklace.  (See photos)

My best-selling kit is an illusion necklace made on sterling silver or gold-plated Flexrite .010 or .014, with stations of 5mm Swarovski crystals, Swarovski crystal-studded rondells, and freshwater pearls, held in place with the micro crimps. Another version, pictured here, uses Swarovski crystals and furnace glass beads on colored flex wire.  These little crimps just melt into the wire and are barely visible.  The second picture uses micro crimps on longer .018 gold Flexrite with Furnace Glass beads and Swarovski crystals.

REGARDING PACKAGING: Whenever possible, I use recycled materials for packaging. You may get your items in an box that once held packets of instant oatmeal! I like to reuse these boxes because they are lightweight and sturdy, and they are getting another life before heading to a landfill. I also reuse bubble envelopes and the like, and print receipts on the back of scrap paper. With me, everything gets a second life, so that I can continue to keep my prices low.
