We have seen this photo online, attributed to Schroeder & Cie., with the caption: "711 - Bernerin." 

 

HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO MAKER MARK ON THIS PHOTOGRAPH. 

 

SIZE. Photo: Approximately 11 x 8 11/16 inches. Mount: Approximately 13 x 11 inches.


CONDITION. Photo: Small spots and marks. This is in much better condition than most others we see of this subject. Mount: Wear around edges and at corners, including a bump at top edge and a crease at lower right. Discoloration around edges. Light soiling.


APPEARANCE. Especially rich tones. Masterful lighting. Sharp details. Wonderful textures. A gorgeous photograph.
