1700s French Hand-Wrought Box Shaped Double Lock with Its Forged Keys, Louis XVI
This lock operates perfectly and was probably made for a safe or trunk, maybe sliding doors, with a particularly complex key system protected in a "cage" barrel

Key: 6 1/2", bow 2 1/4"
It is really rare to find French antique locks in this condition with their forged key
