The original cover is missing . The duplicate cover is on very sturdy 65 lb. linen stock.
Aside from the missing cover the biggest defects are
Rip/tear at bottom on the 1st page at the bottom of the spine
Water stain at top right it goes thru whole book, mostly light, the worst is on title page of Lois Lane actress (see pix)
Age tanning of the pages ( but no where near brittle)
Staples attached but imperfectly & in danger of coming loose with mishandling (see pix),
Otherwise the comic is in very decent shape and a very nice & easy read.
