Vintage 20ct Yellow Gold & Apple Green Jadeite Jade RuYi 如意 Pendant 8.7g 

Beautiful, vintage apple green jade pendant set in rich 20 carat yellow gold. The jade is semi-translucent with soft clouds of opaque white. The quality of the jade is excellent and this is why it has been set in a richer 22 carat gold. The outside of the setting is very ornate and almost like a delicate filigree style. The jade is shaped like a bi or pi disc, that is circular with a donut hole in the centre. 

The pendant comes with a lovely meaning from the Mandarin characters Rú (如) and Yì (意) this literally means "as one wishes" or that everything will go according to plan. The symbolism is very auspicious and this expression of the meaning of these characters, only just touches the surface. The inner meaning or full understanding is etched into thousands of years of Chinese history. Wearing the pendant is a sure sign you are on your right path and your wishes are set to become true. It is beautiful piece is fabulous condition and is stamped with 20 for twenty carat gold and the initials H.W. It is possibly 1990s and is reversible.
