The origins of this bracelet come from a direct 1000+ year-old model found in an archaeological dig site in Gotland, Sweden. Items such as this were sometimes given to people to wear as a sign of trust or allegiance, or sometimes just as an article of fashion. The metal of this bracelet is completely safe and is lead-free and nickel free. It is sized to best fit wrists measuring between 7.0 and 8.5 inches in circumference.
