ToneHounds Guitar Mods -

50's wiring replacement electronics for your Gibson Les Paul Junior! Each set is assembled, hand wired and soldered in the ToneHounds Northern California shop using premium, tested parts. Get rid of the tone sucking PCB electronics on your modern Les Paul, or replace your old worn out parts with these premium replacement units!

Included in each LP Jr set:

50's Wiring

I use 450 series CTS 500K pots, split shaft, 3/8 inch threaded portion (60mm spread center to center) with brass shafts and bushing for the best performance and reliability

New Old Stock Russian K40Y-9 PIO (Paper in Oil) .022uF capacitor, tested to be within 5% of specification

Switchcraft USA #11 mono input jack

22 gauge shielded single conductor master wire as used on vintage Les Pauls and Juniors.

Fully shielded to avoid any grounding issues when installed.  I use a custom high temperature sleeving, rather than the cheap tubing or shrink tubing used by other builders.

I learned the craft from a member of the Fender Custom Shop who overhauled the wiring of the guitars back in the 90's.  I've been doing mods and building assemblies since then and have been on Ebay for over 20 years with immaculate feedback.  I offer a line of assemblies including those for Les Pauls, Teles and a wide range of Strats including Gilmour assemblies, Eric Johnson builds, treble kits and others.  Please see my other listings for the range and if you need something different please contact me.

As always, Free 1st Class shipping in the United States.

Note: Most guitars manufactured overseas in Korea, Japan, China, Indonesia and Mexico use 6mm metric pots and have metric sized holes drilled. You will need to enlarge the pot holes to 3/8" to fit USA CTS pots properly.
