Rechargeable Alkaline Manganese (RAM) batteries were first developed by Battery Technologies Inc and licensed to Grandcell, Pure Energy, and Rayovac RENEWAL for production. This charger is guaranteed to work with these 3 brands and should work with any of the newer brands (Juice, iGo, EnviroCell, etc) of 1.5V Rechargeable Alkaline batteries. User should monitor these other batteries during first use.
Note: do not use with 1.2V NiMH batteries called Juice Extreme or Juice Replay, can only be used with the original Juice 1.5V Rechargeable Alkaline batteries (green label).
Regular (non-rechargeable, disposable) alkaline batteries can be refreshed up to 10 times using this charger, but will not experience the full recharging that Rechargeable Alkaline (RAM) batteries are designed for.
Do not use 1.2V NiMH or NiCd batteries in this charger!
DO NOT TRY TO RECHARGE LITHIUM or Li-Ion BATTERIES IN THIS CHARGER!
This is the great little Grandcell battery charger that plugs right into the 110V wall outlet. Holds four AA or AAA Rechargeable Alkaline Manganese (RAM) batteries - either Grandcell, Pure Energy, or Rayovac Renewal batteries! Has red light to indicate power and green light to indicate completion. Batteries can be left in the charger after completion without damage - will trickle charge to keep batteries topped off. You can never have enough of these little chargers around the house! This is a new sealed unit and comes with the Grandcell instruction booklet, marked for 110V operation only.
