Description:

A Victorian vaseline / uranium / opalescent glass posy bud vase. The rim has been made to look like petals which have ben pulled when the glass was still hot. It glows green under UV light.

 

Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Unmarked.
Age / date of manufacture: c1885.

Size: Measures 3" (7.6 cm) tall, is 2 1/2" (6.4 cm) in diameter across the rim (outer edge to outer edge) and is 1" (2.5 cm) in diameter across the base.

Condition: In good antique used condition with no chips or cracks. Has some fine scuff marks on the exterior and some light scratches inside. There is some damage from use to the finish inside the base of the vase (please see the photographs) but the piece still displays well.
