To repel dogs and cats, press the side laser light button, point directly at the dog or cat, and then press the "START" button for a few seconds. The dog should be deterred from approaching by the ultrasonic sound. When necessary, press the "START" button for a longer period of time. Please keep in mind that the optimal operating range is up to 80 meters.
