Originally published in 1909, this copy was printed between 1917 when F. Warne first became a limited company (Ltd.) and 1942 when they added a numeric printer code to their books which was found on the publisher page or final pages of the books.  This copy has the Ltd. but does not have a printer code. There are two blank pages between every set of 4 pages which suggests that this is pre-1925.

No dust jacket.  Pale yellow boards are in good condition with bumps to corners and light wear.  Internal pages are clean and unmarked.
