Nice Vintage Mint 1965 Puma 959 Jagdmesser Universal Knife With Stag Handles. The Puma model number is 959. The guarantee control number is 82605. This indicates this knife was hand made at Puma Werks in the 2nd quarter of 1965. This knife has the awl instead of the corkscrew.

The knife features a knife blade, gutting blade, saw blade, bird hook, and an awl. The knife blade and the saw blade are 3 1/4" long and made from Puma Stainless Steel. The knife is 4 3/8" long when closed.

The knife blade has a locking feature when it is opened to prevent closing. The blade is etched: PUMA SOLINGEN - ROSTFREI - HANDARBEIT - BESTELL -NR. - 959.

The handles are genuine stag with lots of character and they are stunning. The handles are pinned with five brass rivets. The handle also has the inlaid 800 silver hex shield. The bolsters are mirror polished Puma silver.

This is a great example of a high quality Puma knife. The knife comes in a Puma dark green box with leather pouch and information sheet.

This Puma knife was hand made in Solingen Germany in 1965. It is made to the the highest Puma quality in Solingen Germany.
