Volume 11 of our premium print journal has finally arrived.

This issue taps into a spirit of adventure, globetrotting around the world to bring you the best writing and photography the watch world has to offer. For this release, we’ve increased the size of our cover image, to better showcase Neige Thébault’s beautiful photograph of Guillaume Gaulis, the man behind the coolest little watch shop in Paris.

Inside the magazine, we explore shops, clubs, and auction houses across Europe, soar over Lake Como in a seaplane,  and take a hike in New Jersey. We meet a woman who tries not to spend more than twenty dollars on a watch and recreates horological Bauhaus standouts with one of the movement’s favorite mediums. We have no shortage of fascinating people, from our definitive profile of powerful auctioneer Aurel Bacs, to what Pelé and Maradonna were wearing in their glory days.

After all, this magazine is a labor of love. And there’s simply no better way to experience our 18-page knowledge test, “The Big Brain-Busting Hodinkee Horology Quiz,” than to read it with a pen and paper by your side to tabulate your score. Analog, baby. It still has its pleasures. Surely any watch enthusiast can understand that.

And yet, there’s still so much more in Hodinkee Magazine, Volume 11; the stories are long and robust, and the photos are glossy, but it’s the people and objects that fill the pages that will stay with you long after you flip to the last page. We hope you will return to it time and time again, and begin your journey anew.
