Франческо Саверио Нитти (Francesco Saverio Nitti 1868 - 1953) - итальянский политик и государственный деятель,
премьер-министр Италии с 23 июня 1919 года по 15 июня 1920 года.
В 1891 году Нитти издаёт книгу «Il socialismo cattolico». В этом труде Франческо Нитти отметил некоторое сходство
между социализмом и системой ценностей католицизма.
В 1898 году стал профессором финансов Неаполитанского университета. Давний член партии «Крайне левая»,
в 1904 году Нитти стал депутатом парламента Италии от её преемницы, радикальной партии. 23 июня 1919 года
Нитти назначен премьер-министром Италии. В новом кабинете стал также министром внутренних дел.
Нитти был в жёсткой оппозиции к фашизму. В 1922 году он подал заявление о выходе из состава парламента
в знак протеста против фашистского правительства Бенито Муссолини.
После многочисленных вооружённых действий фашистов, начавшихся во время выборов в 1921 году, он эмигрировал
в Швейцарию и поселился в Цюрихе. С 1926 года жил в Париже, где был одним из организаторов антифашистского

In 1891, Nitty published the book "Il Socialismo Cattolico". In this work, Francesco Nitti noted some the similarity between
socialism and the system of values of Catholicism.
In 1898 he became a professor of finance of the Neapolitan University. A longtime member of the "Extremely Left"
party, in 1904, Nitti became a deputy of the Italian parliament from her successor, a radical party. June 23, 1919
Nitti appointed Prime Minister of Italy. In the new office, he also became the Minister of the Interior.
Nitty was in a hard opposition to fascism. In 1922 he submitted an application for the exit from the parliament in protest
against the fascist government Benito Mussolini. After the numerous armed actions of the Nazis, who began during
the elections in 1921, he emigrated to Switzerland and settled in Zurich. Since 1926 he lived in Paris, where he was one
of the organizers of anti -fascist resistance. In 1943, he was arrested by the SS and
deported. In Nazi Germany,
Nitty's books were among burned.
