This is a beautiful antique Victorian lady's traveling case with silver lidded glass containers, mother of pearl manicure tools and multiple secret areas.

The case is wood with brass inlaid strips and the interior uses red velvet and gold tooled leather for decoration.

The interior is well fitted with 6 silver topped jars and bottles, and 4 glass topped bottles. The 5 piece mother or pearl manicure and dressing set sits in a velvet tray which lifts to reeal a hidden compartment. The whole forward area lifts to reveal a larger hidden area.

In addition there is a sprung concealed drawer at the bottom opened by a button at the hinge. The bottom one is lined with velvet and provides storage for jewellery. The case also has another secret compartmen which is concealed in the inside of the lid. It hides behind a mirror to reveal a secret tooled leather hiding place for letter and documents. The mirror can be reversed to a velvet ruched backing.

It is a beautiful piece which would look stunning on your dressing table.
