Used Vintage 1968 Sturmey Archer 40 Spoke hole FW 4 Speed Hub. Hub is used, spins decent, shows wear, can use some cleaning, most likely needs lubricating, and cone adjustment. Hub is complete with axle nuts & indicator chain and appears to be in working condition. The 40 Hole FW Hub came off 4 Speed Raleigh and Raleigh made Bikes Like: Rudge, Humber, Robin Hood, Phillips, Hercules, Triumph, and BSA. The Hub comes with a 158mm axle and has approximately 110mm spacing, different spacing is achieved with washers / spacers. Hub is in AS IS Condition as removed, I don't work these hubs, but also don't see them not working very often. A cleaning and lubrication usually fully revives them for long service.
