This weaving was done by Ruby James and was purchased at Notah Dineh Gallery in Cortez, Colorado.

Two Grey Hills Navajo rugs have been favorites for collectors not only for the neutral colors but also for the striking designs.  The geographic area for this weaving style sits a little south of Shiprock, New Mexico and has two grey hills that gave the name to the village, trading post and rug style.

This rug has been woven in what is considered the classic Two Grey Hill's style and has been woven in natural-colored yarns of greys, black, beige and white.  The size is 36" x 57".  The rug has straight edges top and bottom.  The slight distortions are from the photographer. The last photo of the 2 rugs was taken in the gallery when the weaver brought in the rug and helps to show the actual size of the rug.
