This is a new old stock, genuine Ford, oil pump drive gear and shaft assembly which fits 1937 - 1940 Ford V8 60 HP. Ford part # 52-6608. This N.O.S. gear is aluminum and has never been in an engine. Aluminum is preferred by many over the fiber version of this gear since alum is more durable and very desirable for performance engines. There is a 'Ford' script on it as seen in photo. This is one of the hardest parts to find for a 60 horsepower, flat head engine. Since this is NOS, the shaft and gear are perfect with no wear. I have seen aftermarket replacement fiber gears with rivets which you would have to remove your old gear and rivet the new gear to your old shaft & hub. This however, is a complete original aluminum w/steel shaft assembly.
