Here, we have a typed letter written by E.E. Cummings to Mr. Munson. "received your letter about The Enormous Room. May I suggest that you read my preface to the "modern library" (one dollar) edition, published by "random house" New York City? Probably (or improbably) that answers many questions!". Signed "good luck! - sincerely, E.E. Cummings". The exclamation point and signature are in pencil. Surely this was typed by E.E. Cummings himself with lower case letters and faulty punctuation. The letter measures 5 1/2" X 8 1/2".
Yes, the letter and signature are authentic. They were inspected by my antiquarian book seller and closely compared to his E.E. Cummings autographs in his inventory. .
This is in excellent condition, clean and clear. The letter has been folded and handled. It has a few light wrinkles. the number "38" is written in pencil at the bottom for no apparent reason. Please view my photographs for more description.
My friend who collects everything, is starting to part with a few of his treasures, aren't you glad?
I will be happy to answer any questions and, of course, combine your shipping.
