Aluminum has inferior connectivity, but is cheaper and sometimes used in ignition coils as well. Beware of listings where the seller does not specify the material used in the ignition coil windings!

GM trucks and SUVs use two different types of coils: the MELCO style coils with the Square body and the DELPHI style coils with the Round body. Our coils shown in the pictures are the MELCO style (square ).Your coils should have the number "12558693" on them. If there are no numbers,simply compare them to the pictures.
