This listing is for a Waterford Crystal Lamp, Mouth Blown, Hand Cut Ultra Rare No. 472-265 product number in Factory Showroom New Condition.
This lamp stands a full 25 inches to its Waterford original highly polished solid brass final, 14 3/4 inches to its completely restored shining socket, and hand a 4 inch circular 1 inch tall highly polished and buffed solid brass base. Also, this lamp has a gold, extra long 77 inch cord.
The Crystal of this piece is cut in such a distinctive way that I have literally no words to explain it. For this reason I made the very rare decision to shoot 1/3 of the photos outside in order for the sun's natural light to show you what I see in the crystal. And honestly it still doesn't quite capture the intricacies of the cuts.
This entire lamp was disassembled, cleaned, stripped, had cut cleaner applied by way of a 6 horse power buffing wheel, and then polished and buffed at high speed producing a high gloss finish that I doubt even the lamp has coming straight from Waterford.
With the exception of a few weight scratches on the underside of the base this piece is as perfect as the day it was cut. The lamp itself stands 12 5/8 inches to its silver socket. The Crystal itself is 9 1/4 inches in height, and 14 1/4 in circumference at the base. These are unheard of dimensions from Waterford and speaks again to the rarity of the piece. The cuts themselves go in every direction like a starburst. I'm natural light this lamp is like nothing you have ever seen anywhere.
In addition to this lamp I also have one of the lamps with the brass base. If you must have a pair I am willing (and capable) of removing the base from the other lamp and selling them matching together as a set.
