High Quality example of an Ancient Egyptian Faience Amulet in the Form of Isis Striding Forward, Ptolemaic Period 3rd-1st Century BC

This finely made small amulet is intact with no repairs although the crown has been lost atop her head which is quite common.

She strides forward with the usual long, thin body and very long (Egyptian canon proportions) arms falling at her sides. Facial details, hair striations, and even fingers are visible. There is an intentional gap between her torso and each arm which would have been used for attachment to funerary dressings.

Lovely original blue-green color remains.

Don't miss this affordable example of an extremely desirable type.  The photos simply do not do it justice.
