Designed with quarter turn fastener fasteners for quick access and now available with a black finish.
Has a 6” X 6” door (measurement is the size of the door only).
Summary: It's what I needed to do the job and looks good. I only wish there were instructions included on how to put the 6 pieces together. Still trying to figure that out

Summary: I relocated a fuel cell between the frame rails, underneath the truck bed of a 46 Ford rat rod. To make the fuel cap accessible, there had to be an access door. I cut a square (6"x6") opening into the truck bed and mounted the access door with the frame (8"x8") over it. I used pop rivets to attach the hinge to the door and to attach the quarter turn fastener to the door. Same for spring. The entire installation took less than one hour. All pieces fit well and pre-drilled holes aligned.
Pros: Easy install precisely pre-drilled holes

Summary: This will work as advertised, and comes as pictured, but take a close look and make sure it'll work for your application. I bought it to mount a fuel cell under a trunk, and have filler neck access. The gaps between the door and frame are wider than anticipated. You also have to snap the door off the frame, and file the leftover "temper tabs" down. since this is black, that leaves silver marks that need touched up. Lastly, there is no mounting hardware of any kind. the picture is accurate, so that's on me,but It never occurred to me that there are no rivets or screws. This may all be common place in a circle track car, but for a drag car, i would have probably went another route. Good door, just look better at the picture than I did before purchasing.
Yes, I recommend this product.
Summary: Easy access to my in tank pump, thank you Speedway.
