Eminem - Curtain Call (The Hits)
2LP vinyl in gatefold

With 65 million albums sold, Eminem is definitely the most successful hip-hop artist of all time. Reason enough for the rapper to take a look back and collect all his hits on one album. However, he did not want to do without an ironic comment on the record in advance ("There are songs by me that many people like, but there are also pieces that only I like. This album is obviously made for the majority of people"). In order not to disappoint his fans, who already know everything about Slim Shady, Curtain Call - The Hits not only features his great hits like "Stan", "My Name Is", Cleanin' Out My Closet" or "Without Me " but also three brand new tracks that he recorded after his stay in the hospital as well as an idiosyncratic, not necessarily successful live version of "Stan", recorded in 2001 at the Grammy Awards with the help of Elton John. In addition to the new single When I'm Gone, which should further fuel the discussion about Eminem's future because of its pessimistic undertones, what's really interesting for the fan is above all the "Fack" placed right at the beginning, in which he is as biting as ever long gone, and "Shake That," co-recorded with Nate Dogg, which features an incredibly strong vocal chorus. Certainly one of the strongest numbers that Eminem has recorded in recent years. Thanks to the mercilessly forward-going beat, the track should also cause an earthquake in the clubs.
