Characterized by the charismatic, sensitive vocal timbre of band mastermind MATZE BRUSTMANN, from whose compositional pen all songs originate this time, acoustic folk, indie rock and multi-layered chamber pop sounds merge on 'Blankets' into a sophisticated, delicately interwoven and fascinating Whole thing, which allows comparisons with ELLIOTT SMITH, MAC DEMARCO or GRIZZLY BEAR in its song-technical brilliance.
