50 years ago, The Kinks released their legendary sixth album »The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society«.

In keeping with this birthday, the British are reissuing the album in 2018 as a vinyl LP.

The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society is the first concept album by the band around brothers Ray and Dave Davies. It is about the bourgeois idyll of life in a fictional rural small town.
