CASH BOX SAID ON IT'S RELEASE
The Verve label should bounce back onto the charts with an exciting new pressing from newcomers Chuck and Gary. The Two boys, stars of the Town Hall Jamboree, a Los Angeles radio show, have an exciting rock-a-billy sound that comes over excellently on a teenage jumper called "can't make up my mind" The story tells of two guys headed for a dance who can't decide whether to take Peggy Sue, Bertha Lou or any of the other females on today's hit parade. Swingin' rhythm stuff with that commercial country flavour and a good teen lyric. Flip "Teenie Weenie Jeanie" is another good rock-a-billy ditty, but the Top Deck is the strong one
