The effect occurs about 8-12 hours after taking the drug. 

 

It combines the classic properties of the herb to cleanse the colon with the unique properties of water-soluble fiber to absorb undigested waste products for digestion and water. Under the influence of the absorbed water, the fibers swell and so the swollen mass easily eliminates from the intestines the waste products of digestion.
