These caps are all low esr. The sound improvement is substantial. Bass is now tight instead of a mushy mess.  This results in better midrange tone and feeling of cleaner upper midrange and extended highs.

If you have purchased a McIntosh C-11 Pre-amplifier and have not changed the power supply capacitors, you have a time bomb on your hands. The amplifier is not performing to its full capability as well. 

Don't fool around with NOS capacitors unless you are looking for trouble. Don't modify your chassis to accept capacitors that need clamps and devalue your amplifier. These are direct fit cans. Brand new.

Our C-11 Deluxe Restoration Kit includes All (3) twist lock capacitor cans that fit physically into the space of the originals. No drilling no clamps. These cans are both from Authenicap, German made, and from CE Dist, USA made on Mallory equipment purchased by the new manufacturer. We supply a replacement for the 40uf discrete capacitor. This is a high temperature axial electrolytic.

We also include a 2 1N4007 diodes to replace the 2 selenium rectifiers and (1)  1W 11V Zener diodes to compensate for replacing them with silicon diodes. This is sometimes needed. A bridge rectifier is also supplied for cases where the heater bridge is Selenium. More common in the C11 than the C22. 

In addition, we supply all Audio Coupling Capacitors and both cathode bypass capacitors. These are highest ,quality Polypropylene capacitors, by Illinois Capacitor, CDE and Mallory (150M) we use in our own restorations. All rated at 600V. Th cathode bypass Electrolytics are high quality Illinois Capacitor units.
