As far as I can tell it’s all fashion / costume jewelry. I suppose some of it could be gold plated, but I wouldn’t count on it….and I don’t know how to discern if it is or isn’t gold-plated, I’m sorry.

The box measures 9.5 x 7.5 inches….and is 2.5 inches deep. It’s in great condition, with no cracks or chips in the glass. The metal work isn’t stained or warped, and all the gemstones are firmly affixed. The inside white upholstery, which is like a a faux velvet sort of material….could use a cleaning, but I have vacuumed it out, and given it a soft wipe. The box opens smoothly, with no squeaking. The metal and glass work on the lid is very nicely done.

The jewelry is all working and in excellent condition, in my opinion. The heart necklace on the outside of all the other jewelry is very long, FYI….it seems like a necklace you could loop twice around your neck almost.
