This is a vintage antique sample of barbed wire fencing.   This sample features an unknown patentee. This wire is called "Large Tee Bar Antique Barbless Horse Pen Rail"  by collectors. (ref Hagemeier 12-A). VARIATION Hagemeier does not show the small and large variations.  This rod is 5/16" in width.   Wire sample is barbless, and is 18" in length.    Wire sample shows some pitting. There are no bends, breaks, welds, or repairs.
