Mechanix Illustrated How To Magazine Roy D. Chapin Jr. Vol 63 No 470 July 1967

(See photos 2 for table of contents)

Mechanix Illustrated was an American printed magazine that was originally published by Fawcett Publications.

Its title was founded in 1928 to compete against the older Popular Science and Popular Mechanics.

Billed as "The How-To-Do Magazine," Mechanix Illustrated (MI) aimed to guide readers through various projects from home improvements and advice on repairs to "build-your-own (sports car, telescope, helicopter, etc)." It was headquartered in New York City.

Magazine is in acceptable condition. General shelf and corner wear. Cover fraying along covers edges. Staining on the interior and exterior.  Staining on the end pages. Spine has some issues (see photo #8). Mailing sticker on the bottom right of the front cover. The cover is separated at the top and bottom about 2 1/2 inches from the spine, but still attached. Staining on the back cover. Tearing/Fraying at the top of the front cover. A solid reading copy. Please see photos for details, and let me know if you have any questions.
