A gorgeous bolt of unused, unwashed plaid French handkerchief fabric with the sizing (starching from the weaving) still intact from the 1920s! I show this fabric laid on the table like a runner because I think it's a really sweet use! ~*~ However, it's ideal too for pillows, and other sewing projects! ~*~ It was initially sold for making hankies ~ The hankies were made from the squares, so enough to make 10-12 handerchiefs or similar! ~*~ This material is a medium weight cotton . ~ The plaid pattern is mainly purple with antique off-white ground. This fabric is unwashed, and when washed the weave will tighten and become softer, like handkerchief fabric softness we know! ~ However unwashed it's a lovely more open weave, would make charming cafe curtains etc! ~*~ Ideal for use in sewing projects like upholstery, pillows, napkins, curtains, clothes making, etc. ~*~ *~ ( if purchasing for use as a table runner, measure the top of your kitchen table, then add an additional 8 inches for an over hang on each end ~*~ Then, round up to the nearest yard! ~*~

MEASUREMENTS : I am selling this length by the yard and I have multiple lengths , so each quantity will measure about 20 inches wide by 36 inches long. If you would like to purchase multiple yards, simply add to your cart and change the quantity to the number of continuous yards you would like to purchase~

CONDITION : This gorgeous textile is in as found, unwashed, unused condition. ~*~ BEAUTIFUL condition. ~*~ The original sizing is still intact!
