My name is Dmitry Vyazmin and I'm 37 years old. I've been a freelance artist for 7 years, but until the age of 30, my career was in computer systems engineering. After working in that field for several years, I felt the urge for a change and picked up a paintbrush. I had no prior knowledge of art techniques, but I followed my intuition and inner vision, inspired by past and contemporary artists.
I poured all my time and energy into painting, often sacrificing sleep to continue working on my art. The process of painting became a form of meditation for me and I call it the "creative flow." Ideas come to me effortlessly and I paint every day. Some days I have a clear vision of my work, while other times I let my intuition guide me. I believe inspiration comes to those who are ready and I strive to be prepared every day.
I've learned to incorporate creativity into all aspects of my life, including time spent in my garden. I find peace in watching flowers bloom and bees buzzing, and I feel that I've gained something greater in exchange for a more solitary life. Each of my paintings holds my love for art and the world, which is why many people say my works exude light. Though I can't prove it as an engineer, I know it as an artist.
