Description:

A crested china model of a WW1 battleship featuring the coat of arms of Taplow, Buckinghamshire. This piece was produced by Arcadian China (the trademark used by Arkinstall & Sons, Stoke on Trent).


Identifying Marks / Makers Marks: Marked on the base as shown in the photograph above.
Age / date of manufacture:

c1914.

Size: Measures 4 3/4" (just over 12 cm) long. 
Condition: Good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Gilt decoration is rubbed, please see the photographs. Has a small area on the reverse where the glaze has not covered and has some loss to the black area of the coat of arms.
