This watch was produced in a limited edition in honor of the 1980 Olympics held in the USSR.
Thin and slenderwatches “LUCH” 2209 of the Minsk Watch Factory, produced from the USSR of the 1980 of the last century. "LUCH"2209 is one of the thinnest clockworks produced by Soviet industry. In those years, this corresponded to the global trend - the finer, the more fashionable. On this caliber, Vympel, Poljot 2209 watches were produced.
To reduce the height and size during the design of this mechanism, a unique solution was applied. It does not have a central wheel. Instead, a central tribe is installed, and the central wheel of a large diameter is divided into two small wheels.
The case is octagonal, gold-plated, movement - gold plated, a stainless steel lid. Shockproof.
