Herend Porcelain Leaf Serving Dish

  Generous sized dish, 9.25" long from handle to tip, 7.5" at widest point and 2.75" high at top of handle. Shown in the Oriental Bouquet Pattern, introduced in 1931 to honor Count Apponyi, a famous Hungarian statesman.  

    This pattern is shown in Herend's Raspberry color and features stylized peonies and leaves inspired by the  original Indian Basket Pattern of 1867.  The dish is trimmed in Herend's famous 24k gold both on the outer edge and along the interior decorative band. Note the subtle basketweave border, dramatic handle detailing and tiny floral sprigs on the back of this lovely piece. Handpainted by Master Artists at the Herend Manufactory in Hungary, Europe.
