Up for sale is a pin formerly owned by a member of the Patrons of Husbandry, Little River Grange No. 36, Hampton, Connecticut. I don't know anything about this fraternal organization, but this pin appears to be worn by members at their meetings, including funerals or wakes, which is why the back of the ribbon says "In Memoriam" on it. Did they just flip the ribbon over to display this message?

I'm guessing this pin dates from the 1920's, perhaps earlier.

Top to bottom this pin measures about  7 1/2". The Patrons of Husbandry pin measures about 1 1/4" in diameter. The emblem with the flag is made of metal and plastic. Please email with questions before buying this pin.
