This is a Rorstrand Gunnar Nylund collectible Christmas plate - JULEN 1972 - RÖRSTRAND - Swedish Vintage 1972 Julen Rorstrand Sweden Limited Edition Collector's Plate.
The decoration is of a young man playing a fiddle while riding a spotted white galloping horse, being followed by a group of people.  Behind them is a church with the star of Bethlehem. 

The plate was designed by Gunnar Nylund.  It measures 7 1/2" X  7 1/2."  It is a square plate with rounded edge made of porcelain in delft cobalt blue style.  It is in excellent condition with no chips, scratches, nor crazing.
