Very nice mint 2000 Case 6254 SS TRAPPER KNIFE. This knife has the new Case 2000 tang stamp. The new tang stamp consists of 5 "X's" and 5 "dots". The knife is 4 1/8" long when closed.
The handles are a very pretty GENUINE JIGGED RED POCKETWORN BONE. THE BLADES ARE STAINLESS STEEL. This knife has the OVAL SHIELD ON THE REAR HANDLE THAT IS DATE 01/01/00. It also has nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. THIS WAS THE FIRST SHIPMENT OF THE 21ST CENTURY THAT LEFT BRADFORD, PENNSYLVANIA SATURDAY JANUARY 1, 2000 BOUND FOR SHEPHERD HILLS CUTLERY IN LEBANON MISSOURI. THERE IS A SPECIAL POSTCARD THAT WAS POSTMARKED JANUARY 1, 2000 - SHEPHERD HILLS STATION - BRADFORD, PA. 16701. EACH CASE KNIFE PATTERN HAS A DIFFERENT $.33 CENT STAMP THAT WAS ALSO MADE FOR EACH KNIFE. THIS KNIFE HAS THE "GREEN BAY PACKERS" STAMP. THIS IS A VERY RARE CASE KNIFE AS THERE WERE ONLY 110 PRODUCED. IF YOU ARE A CASE KNIFE COLLECTOR THIS IS A HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE KNIFE. YOU WILL RECEIVE THE KNIFE IN THE FACTORY BOX WITH PAPERS PLUS THE SPECIAL POSTCARD THAT IS A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY FOR THE KNIFE. THIS KNIFE WAS ITEM #783 ON THE POSTCARD.
