Description:

These great doors were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian.

They are made of oak and are painted on both sides.

Each has a panel of beveled glass at the top with a wood panel below.

The panels on the front side are raised and framed in raised moldings.

The backs have flat flush panels.

Most hardware will need to be replaced.

They measure 44 inches wide together, 87 tall, and almost 2 inches thick.

Overall they are in fair condition.  There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. There holes from a mail slot and a dead bolt. Both doors have chips and cracks along the edges where the doors meet. They have small holes inside from curtain hangers. Fronts have screw holes along the tops. Please look at the pictures carefully.

Shipping

We have a 16 foot box truck for salvage jobs and delivery trips. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January.

In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed.

We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. Outside these areas it would be best to check uship.com for delivery quotes.

Payment

Payment should be made within 5 business days unless you make other arrangements in advance.

Terms of Sale

I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch.

About Us

My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting.  Steve and Michelle
