Make large impactful prints with this contact printing frame made of a beautiful Warm Clear Cherry wood with oak pinned bridle joint corner construction. The pressure plate is made from void free 1/2 inch Baltic birch ply with a felt covering. The springs are very strong. The frame is covered in 4 coats of clear satin polyurethane. It is a very robust frame and should last a lifetime of printing. Perfect for contact printing silver gelatin or any of the myriad of alternative photography processes like gum, cyanotype, van Dyke, platinum/palladium etc. It’s perfectly sized for 16x20 film negatives or digital negatives from the crop of 17x22 inch printers out there.
