Here is a
vintage soft cover book titled The Canadian Flag Cancellation Handbook 1896-1973. It was written by Ed Richardson, F.R.P.S.C. & illustrations are by Ted Kilish, It was published in May 1974 by British North America Philatelic Society. It is 92 pages in length and measures about 5.3 inches wide, 8.5 inches long and 0.2 inches thick. The book presents a collection of Canadian postal flag cancellations from 1896 through 1973. The contents include general information, early flags (1896-1902), King George V period (1917-1934), and the modern period (1937-1973). Black and white photo images and illustrations accompany the text.
Condition: It is in good condition. There is minor soiling, creasing and edgewear to the cover. There is minor soiling with some light brown spotting to the outside of the page ends. There is light brown spotting to the upper border of the first few pages with a thin edge of light tanning to the page borders. There is an occasional small soil mark noted on a couple of the pages though overall, the pages are clean. The pages are intact and unmarked by notations or highlighting.
