Vintage D'Arceau Limoges SECRET CONTRACT Plate Premier Edition Lafayette Legacy Series.

This is a collectible plate is part of a series of 6 plates from 1973. The plates reflected different scenes of the revolutionary war and have a story on the back written in French. This plate measures 8-1/2 across and is in good condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.

This is plate II (2) in the series and the painting on the plate is depicting a scene from a meeting between Silas Deane, an American soldier fight for American Independence from Britain, and the Marquis de Lafayette. At this meeting Lafayette signed a contract committing himself to aid in the Rebels fights against Britain.

I do not have the original paperwork for this plate
