Octavo. Hardcover, original beige cloth boards with title and spine stamped in black, slight soiling to covers. Black endpapers. Title page shows personal library stamp of "F. Jezersky." Cream colored dust-jacket that shows amateur repairs, wear to edges, nonetheless presents well(pls see pics). Top right corner text block bumped. 

233 black and white photographs on 113 sheets, of which 6 are folding. Poems by V. Holan and J. Seifert, portrait of Sudek by J. Ehm. With the exception of his military service in Italy and a brief trip through Italy and Belgium in the late 1920s, Sudek spent his entire life in Czechoslovakia, photographing Prague with intimacy and affection. Fotografie is a prime example of his work.
