1)Hardware requirements

These dual display KVM Switches work only when the video card of connected PC and laptop supports 2 video out Simultaneously and also support extended display function.

2)Manual setting migh be needed

These KVM Switch with dual display does not support built-in EDID emulation.After switching from one video source to another, manual setting might need to adjust the desktop.

3)Keyboards&mouse requirements

We tested tens of similar KVM Switch from various factories and brands, all of them have limited compatibility with wireless&mechanica keyboards mouses.so,standard 104-key wired USB keyboard, standard 2 or 3 button wired USB mouse are recommended

4)Being considerate

These KVM switcher from HDmatters are 100% tested before shipping.In spite of this,we can not Guarantee 100% compatibility as there are thunsands of video sources from thunsands of suppliers.If you are experiencing any trouble, pls contact HDmatters support team before dispute and negative feedback.

Cables requirements

Pls uses qualified HDMI and Displayport cables to pair the video soures and Display. Most Sync issues such as flickering and drops are caused by poor cable. Poor cable might work well with a direct connections from source to Display.But when it comes to long transmission, sync issues happens.

Remarks!!!

  • 1)To support dual display, your pc's video card must be capable of supporting 2 video out simutaneously.
  • 2)to use the extended and spliced display function, your video card must be capable of doing so as the dual monitor KVM Switch display only what was connected to the input.It is a bypass swicth and it can not processing those function by itself.
  • 3)This is a KVM dual monitor switch, it is not a 4X2 HDMI KVM Matrix.
  • 4)Like many other KVM Switch, those dual display kvm switch has limited compability with Mechanic and wireless keyboards and mouses. Standard 104-key wired USB keyboard, standard 2 or 3 button wired USB mouse are recommended.
  • 5)All features is subject to the capability of your video card.
  • 6)These KVM Switch supports 4K 60Hz at max. pls do not set any referesh rates more than 60Hz.
  • 7)the above features is subject to the capability of your video card.

Installation:

1. Turn off all devices and unplug all the cables;
2. Plug HDMI cables and USB cables into KVM switch and your computers/laptops ( HDMI cables not included):
Please check the HDMI IN A1 & A2 , HDMI IN B1 and USB IN1 & IN2 is corresponding, HDMI OUT A, HDMI OUT B is corresponding, NOT support mixed insertion.


HDMI IN A1 + HDMI IN B1 + USB IN1=PC1
HDMI IN A2 + HDMI IN B2 + USB IN2=PC2

3. Plug mouse and keyboard into KVM switch;
4. Plug HDMI cables and USB cables into KVM switch and monitors;
5. Plug power supply into KVM switch;
6. Boot computers/laptops.
