Vintage Simplicity 1564 Stylish Party Dress & Jacket Punch Hole Printed Pattern - FF, UNCUT.

Dress has dart fitted bodice joined to dirndl skirt below the natural waistline.  The dress features extended shoulders and a shaped neckline trimmed with sequins.  A pattern for dress shoulder pads is included.  

The dart fitted jacket has a button front closing and a bow trim at neckline.  The three-quarter length sleeves gather into armholes and a purchased pad with a rolled edge is used for the jacket.  

Although the jacket adds a certain flair, we think the dress is pretty enough to wear on its own.  The dropped waist on the fitted bodice makes the style unique.

This is an original late 1940's vintage pattern.  We believe it is the only one on eBay in this size and style.  The pieces are intact and in factory folds, although the envelope is fragile and damaged.
